Do you ever wonder where your dreams come from? Do you ever wonder what prompts a dream and what does it mean? Chapter 15 in The Grand Biocentric Design – How Life Creates Reality by Robert Lanza, MD and Matej Pavsic with Bob Berman is titled “Dreams and Multidimensional Reality”, and it offers up some ideas to think about.

First I want to share that I have been studying and interpreting dreams for almost 25 years, and I am still fascinated by them.  I have had dreams that actually have occurred and I always wanted to know how to tell what dream would happen, or what they were saying to me. One thing I do know about dreams is that they are always about the dreamer. It doesn’t matter whether they are pre-cognitive, lucid, a message, or a “supernatural” experience.  Dreams are always about you!

That being said, where do they come from? We spend about 1/3 of our lives sleeping. When we go to sleep, we put the body aside and step into this internal world. While dreaming, we are not observing external events or perceiving stimuli.  All of the information comes from inside.  But if we consider what biocentrism tells us, we are the observers and we create reality, so we as observers are creating the dream.  Our brain and body don’t know the difference in experiences from external stimuli or internal imagining.  And just as we have experiences through meditation, we also have experiences through dreams, and our brain and body react to them.

In dreams we jump from experience to experience without relation to space or time.  Things just seem to pop in with no relation to the physical laws of the external world. It is a wonder-filled creation bringing us information.  Our creation helps us solve problems, brings understanding, and gives us teachings.  And there are teachings, books and classes to help you interpret what you are saying to yourself. So what is stopping you from exploring your dreams and gaining insights into your life and yourself?
