We just started a new book on Quantum Leap Book Club.  It is Mindfulness by Tessa Watt.  This book is a practical guide to learning how to become mindful and understanding the benefits that mindfulness has on the body, emotions, mind, and spirit.

What I really like about this book is that it contains exercises and ideas on practices that don’t take long but can have a profound impact on a person’s life.  I would suggest getting the book, and a journal to record thoughts and experiences.  To change behaviors and have an impact on so many levels, one has to change the patterns and neurons in the brain.  This happens through taking in new information, practicing and repetition.  The journaling of experiences and reflecting on the practices helps to anchor in the changes.

I have been practicing mindfulness for many years, and from the practice, I can say that it has changed my life in so many wonderful ways, from experiencing in the moment to taking in the subtle energies around and in me.
