Where is Your Song Waiting to Be Sung
In our journey with Quantum Leap Book Club through the book by Barry Goldstein, The Secret Language of the Heart, we travel through aspects of music that are not generally recognized by the listener.
One of these involves the ability of the composer to retain the attention of the listener using silence between musical movements. In this silence it has been proven the listener is giving full attention. Research has revealed that peak brain activity occurs during such short periods of silence. Goldstein shares that in these silences, our focus is total and complete and true balance and healing can occur as our brain and heart move into coherence.
A second discussion in this fascinating book relates to what he calls “The Messenger Song”. Barry speaks of how a song can feel like a long-lost friend. When you listen, such a song instantly transports you to another place and time and evokes strong emotions. The song can serve as a vehicle for your soul to release burdens and heavy energy resulting in the release of negative emotions. With the release of emotional blocks, such a song can aid in your healing process. When we alter our emotions (in this case through an old but familiar song), there can be a profound effect on the physical body.
These two examples give you a taste of the wealth of information waiting for you as you enjoy and benefit from reading Barry Goldstein’s literary jewel titled “The Secret Language of the Heart”.
Songs move us beyond the mind and take us directly to the core of the soul where we can transmute and transform limited beliefs and negative feelings.
Through music we can clean out emotions that no longer serve us and begin to truly listen to our heart and unveil our unique gifts we are here to share.
WE ALL HAVE A SONG IN OUR HEART WAITING TO BE SUNG!  Barry Goldstein invites you to find your song.
